Concord Church strives to provide meaningful Christian education to all age levels
from small children to retirees. This is accomplished through a variety of methods,
including Sunday School, Bible studies and small groups.
Sunday School
Our Christian Education Department works hard to ensure that there is a Sunday school
class that will interest and spiritually nurture everyone in the congregation. Many
of our adult classes are based on life stage, while others are topical in nature.
If you need help finding or chosing a class, one of our pastors would be glad to
help you.
Student Ministries
Every Sunday night throughout the school year, students and adult leaders
join together for 180 to worship the One who gave it all. Our vision for 180 is
to provide a place where students will be fed God’s word through powerful biblical
messages, intense praise and worship, and small group discussions that
relate to their lives, developing them into a generation that lives the change
for Christ. 180 meets from 6-8:15 p.m. Sundays for students in grades 4-12.
Missions
We have a three-fold vision for missions, local, national and international. As
a church, we support over 40 missionaries or mission organizations, have traveled
to 28 countries and are active in our community.
Small groups
The Bible calls us to meet together on a regular basis to learn and fellowship.
At Concord there are new small groups forming on a regular basis. They often meet
in homes and focus on a book study or other curriculum together in an informal atmosphere.
Going deeper
Our main priority is to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. As
such, we have developed the Christian Life and Service Seminars (CLASS) to help
you.
Explore the Christian Faith in CLASS 101. Learn what it means to be a Christian,
what we believe, how we are structured, and what we are about in out ministry here
at Concord. This is a prerequisite for all other classes and necessary for membership.
In CLASS 201, learn about Healthy Spiritual Habits that will help you grow
in your faith. Learn about Bible study, prayer, stewardship, and fellowship.
In CLASS 301, learn how God has wired you for serving Him by learning your
S.H.A.P.E. for ministry. Come and learn about your spiritual gifts, your personality,
and how God can use your life experiences to touch the lives of others.
CLASS 101, 201 and 301 are offered periodically throughout the year. Watch the bulletin
or ask a pastor for details.
